Web Site Kudos

Dear Korean War enthusiasts,
I'm a middle school student, currently doing a history project on the Korean War. I
just wanted to let you know that your site has helped me incredibly. The pictures,
banners, etc. are great, as are the primary sources. I have not yet looked into it, but my
guess is the Pages for people who actually fought in the war, or people who's relatives
did, are equally well organized. The "Get Educated" page helped a lot, too.
Well, thanks again and keep up the good work.
Robert
(P.S. - Give your web page programmers a raise! The layout and icons are great!)

I thought when Barker's Korean War Project went down, all things
relating to veterans was doomed to the dustbin of history. I'm certainly glad I was
wrong. Keep up the fine and necessary work. Having served in korea in 1961-1962,
listening to other vet's thoughts has always been of interest to me.Also an uncle, John D.
Kreutz served there with 17th infantry regiment of the 7th division. (The only American
unit to actually reach the Yalu river). He is gone now, but later in life he started
relaying some of his experiences, and of his unit's ordeal there. Some were
harrowing, many were sad, some were the most humorous I have ever heard. I have never
written anything down, but I can remember most of them.If they would be of any value to
the project, please let me know. Thanks again for your great site, I know John would
have loved it.
