Membership Application Form
Veterans and non-veterans are welcome to join the Korean War Veterans National Museum and Library. One hundred percent of your dues goes to the establishment of the national museum. As mandated in our constitution and bylaws, five percent of everyone's dues is automatically set aside in the museum's Endowment Fund. Money in the national museum's Endowment Fund is kept separate from the general operating account of the museum. The principal of the account cannot be spent, which means that through the years it grows so large that it accrues a large amount of interest. That interest can be spent for the general operation of the museum if incoming money from fund-raisers, admissions, and donations is not enough to cover operating expenses for a particular year. After the year 2,000, the constitution of the Korean War Veterans National Museum and Library mandates that ten percent of all dues must be set aside for the Endowment Fund. We are securing the financial stability of the national museum so that the museum can continue to educate Americans and the world about the Korean War long after those who remember it first-hand have died. Your membership can help the Korean War Veterans National Museum and Library succeed.
